Description
Layered petals form the body of the design, each traced with scrolling metalwork and clusters of softly lustrous faux pearls. The antique gold-tone finish lends depth to the openwork structure, while the pearl-covered centre creates a brighter focal point. Seen from the side, the raised construction gives the flower a sculptural quality rather than allowing it to sit completely flat.
Its appeal also lies in its versatility. A traditional pin fastening at the back allows the piece to be worn as a brooch, while an additional pendant loop makes it possible to attach it to a suitable chain and wear it as a necklace pendant. On a jacket lapel, velvet dress or evening coat, it becomes a strong decorative accent; worn at the neckline, it takes on the character of an old-world floral pendant.
This is a statement piece with presence, but its palette remains restrained, antique gold and pearl white, composed with enough detail to feel dressed without relying on vivid colour.
